Tech Tips: iPhone Apps

So what's a mom to do in between (if there's by any chance to have at all...time to kill!).

MOST USEFUL APPS FOR ME:

1. Viber - Free SMS and Free Calls

If you're on unlimited data plan on your iPhone then this is a great app. So long as the signal's good, call and message from a phone with Viber anywhere in the world. Works over wifi too.

2. Instagram - A fun way of sharing pictures and making nice vintage textures on them too

Uploads on your phone and on different social media sites like Twitter and FB too. Get to see the world through your friend's camera and yours too (I'm mommygtm on Instagram)

Fashion Bits: H&M Conscious Glamour Collection

I admire celebrities and personalities who look good and feel good without having to always result in wearing over hyped and expensive (to the bones) haute couture clothing.

After reading COCO PEREZ (HILTON) one of my fave blogs because he's really hilarious, I saw the new H&M Conscious Glamour Collection.

A favorite brand and I wish they would already build one store here without over-pricing

Whenever I have the chance to go to a store abroad, I always make it a point to grab one of their accessories, clean cut basic tops and some key pieces.

The quality is nice, accessories range go for less than Php300 up to Php800 for the more sophisticated ones. Clothes for kids are cute too!

Book Hook: The Hunger Games

Ok, I usually never watch the movie then read the book.
It's always been the other way around and I end up usually criticizing the movie for wrong details, missed out (important) parts and/or scenes and the rest of the things in my opinion (ikaw na and maging director..hahaha).

Harry Potter was the series I made sure I read from Book 1 till the end before I watch any of it on film, same with Twilight.

This however, is a surprisingly refreshing way of doing it.

THE HUNGER GAMES

I watched the movie, thought it was, really OK. 4 out of 5 stars. Bought the 3 books, then almost half way through book 1, my rating is at a 2.5 out of 5 for the movie and 5 out of 5 for the book of course.

Floral Madness

If you haven't heard of Cath Kidston then you're losing out on all things girly.

If you're not so much into florals for bags and little knick knacks like pouches, home decor and fabric, then you can try their personal care products.

I was ecstatic during the last holiday when I found these in Rustan's.

Reasonable priced and they smell so good!

Lots of nice, safe ingredients too, mostly Paraben Free.
