Ooh and Gooh!

I've been out of commission as expected for several months.
But I'm getting back to my mission: getting all artsy, crafty, domestic and DIY.

For the longest time, due to busy work schedules and generally, lack of time, I find myself buying commercially made food for my kids and the house.

When I saw that my youngest was getting extra sensitive to the food he eats and with all the junk food they've consumed, it was really time to change things for good.

First, I got the oven I wanted for the longest time.
Second, I got back to baking.
Third, the house is looking better, though so much more things to organize. READ: Garage Sale

Shoe Obsession: Pointy and Clear

I have been raving about pointed and transparent shoes of recent.
I'm so glad they are back!

Hopefully my special project gets done soon!

Here are my inspirations and I'm planning to make them affordable and as much as possible more comfortable. :)

We're making a 3 inch and 2 inch version
Thicker ankle straps
Patent Leatherette
Thicker PVC
Padded insoles for added comfort

There may also be a version with studs! :)

Neon anyone?

More colors!

Shoe Post: Flat, weird and unique :)

Apologies for the topic.
I can't sleep.
It's been a tough week, coming from my son's confinement at the hospital.
Though work was exciting, the sleepless nights and panic at the hospital still caught up with me.
I guess that comes with being a mom and a workaholic.

But anyhoo, I've been into unique shoe pieces again lately, which are local brands and at awesome prices. The only thing I can't pull off are heeless pumps, I just can't balance and for sure will trip over. :( But I'm quite happy with these flats. I'm looking for court shoes (comfortable ones hopefully) if there are. :)))

Both from The Ramp:

PILL: Transparent Flat with Metal gold cap and faux reptile skin

TONIC: Transparent flat with cap toe glittery material

JHAJING ONLINE: Orange and Nude Spiked Flats

photo grabbed from: https://www.facebook.com/JhajingFashion

All three are super comfy. Perfect for busy days in the office or weekends where you need to run errands. :)

Sleep has finally greeted me.

Good night!

Cheers!

Vision Board: Shoes

Rummaged through my closet and decided to part with a lot of my shoes.
Some, I have worn just a couple of times and haven't worn in around 6-8 months so I decided to let them go for a much better cause.

I didn't give out heels because who would want to start anew after getting flooded in heels?

So I gave away boots and flats plus a lot of my kids' shoes, which most parents will agree, are rarely worn between the ages of 1 to 6. A lot of the shoes were only worn once as well! (Sayang and some pairs were even new so share the blessing).

I'm still planning to rummage through my closet and see what else I can give, not a reason to buy new ones but to make sense that, I really don't need so much.

I can always just admire nice pictures. :)

With that, I'll just have to dream of these babies as I know they're pretty but I can't really survive wearing them! haha

Fashion Bits: H&M Conscious Glamour Collection

I admire celebrities and personalities who look good and feel good without having to always result in wearing over hyped and expensive (to the bones) haute couture clothing.

After reading COCO PEREZ (HILTON) one of my fave blogs because he's really hilarious, I saw the new H&M Conscious Glamour Collection.

A favorite brand and I wish they would already build one store here without over-pricing

Whenever I have the chance to go to a store abroad, I always make it a point to grab one of their accessories, clean cut basic tops and some key pieces.

The quality is nice, accessories range go for less than Php300 up to Php800 for the more sophisticated ones. Clothes for kids are cute too!

Oh Hello There...

I have been CRAZY busy that I wasn't able to even look at my blog for a couple of weeks.

I have been trying to get a post at least each week but ZIT.

Then I realized, all I ever see is WORK.

I need WORK-LIFE Balance and contrary to popular belief, it does and WILL exist.

I am dead set on being a WAHM. Working at home, earning, doing what you love and  being around the people that you love is something you aspire at this stage when your kids are young and they need much guidance.

So I will aim for that!

On other news, so MANY MANY (MANNY? Lol) things to share.

The low down on my next posts:

1. Coolest Gadgets I've Tried and now own
2. New accessories I'm raving about and I think you will too
3. Places to share including food trips
4. SUMMER!
5. My growing obsession and happiness list

LOL. So much to post and I really wanna share them.

1 post a day before bed time - that's the commitment so far. :)

So for that I end by sharing my current style pegs:

LAYERS + VOLUME
Abstract and Chunky YSL ARTY RINGS
All images here from Google

Big Hair
Smokey Eyes, Nude Lips
Bracelet Layers and "Boy's" pieces
Gold
Sweet dreams!

Cheers

My 2012 Style Guide

Inspiration is key
I'm purging my closets later
Before I do the: KEEP, GIVE-AWAY and STORE thingy, I must know what looks and uses for that matter, I'm aiming for.

Decided to keep that comfy yet edgy vibe.

Loving Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's takes, though not the extreme ones but the very chic and low key.

If only I could afford a few pieces from their THE ROW line...ack, so expensive but very very subtle branding, which is the best.

The Look For Less: Olivia's Zara Bag

It's definitely not the price tag.

No matter how expensive your bag is, if you don't carry it well, it won't really matter at all.

Nothing against luxury branded goods. Love them, wish we all had them, right?

But sometimes we just need to scrimp a little.

But that doesn't mean we won't get what we want right?

For some time now, I've been tracking down Ms. Palermo's (Olivia) style.

I love that she can go from uber high fashion to downtown casual chic.

Zara Plaited Shopper approx 5-6k php
And because I didn't want to fork over 5 grand, I look for an inspired alternative:

Available at Oohwables & Co. in 7-10 days!
Get the bag for only Php2,190 and with free shipping courtesy of multiply!

I obviously have 1 out of the 3 units I ordered heehee

Yes, this is a shameless plug (hehe) but you need to share fashion finds, and this is the best of both.

Cheers!

Outfit Peg: Office Runabout

It does help me a lot whenever I post outfit pegs.
It's easier when I place them on the iPad then just open the library of pegs if I can't think of anything to wear or "assemble" from my closet.

I am so disorganized with my closet right now.

I need to purge and let go and re-think before 2012 hits me.

I'll be going to HK for a business trip soon but my colleague and I will try to sneak out after work and do some shopping...hehehe.

Office Runabout

Got my Ray-Bans of course! a must have is your classic aviators, just tell them you want an L0205 model and you're good to go.

The Dex Flex

I scouted Shangrila Mall last Sunday and I found the perfect pair of ankle boots.

I like the style because you can wear them even in our weather and they go great with my outfits when I go to other countries particularly when it's also very cold.

It can dress up most outfits, weather casual or corporate.

The downside is, I hate getting them with those killer heels.

So I was so happy to get these shoes from Payless with the wedge heels!

Mind you, they are super comfy:

- They have extra cushioned soles
- The wedge heels will allow you to balance better, walk and stand for longer periods of time
- The ankle straps have garterized sides and adjustable straps
- The soles flex easily! Talk about comfy-ness to the nth level!

Women's Simone Short Shaft Wedge
Php1,900++ at Payless Shangri-la Plaza

Get comfortable style with this dexflex by Dexter wedge! It features a sleek faux leather upper with adjustable buckle detail for great fit, elastic and side zipper for easy on/off, and a flexible outsole for ease of movement with a 3" wedge heel. The soft footbed boasts a two layer insole. Memory foam, like pillows provided in five-star hotels, absorbs shock, shapes and holds perfectly to cradle the foot for lasting comfort. Latex foam has a premier bouncing nature which provides cushion and a feeling of protection with every step. Manmade materials. - From Payless.com

Monday Blues

I'm documenting my outfits in Lookbook.nu and I have yet to get the hang of it and should commission the husband to take pictures because I can't find my tripod and do the self-timer thing.

Unless...I teach my 4-year-old to take pictures...hehehe.

Here's one of my first posts and there's still a lot to work with.

I want to see how my style will evolve in the coming years...hopefully for the best!

I think everyone dreads Mondays...me before I went out this morning for my daughter's moving-up parent's briefing and for the office.

Emo! hahahaha
Bag by Zee from FB, Forever 21 Tulip Skirt Dress, Sugar Platforms from People Are People, Animal Print belt from Landmark

Moving House

We're moving to the south of the metro soon and so I inspected most of the stocks from my online shop to check and organize.

I figured, I have a lot of items to post still and haven't had the time to update it.

And so I figured also to give something away online. Little cutesy stuff I want other people to enjoy and I will be posting that soon here. :)

Just in time for summer.

Stay tuned!

New little project

There are so many girls at our office who are very fashionable and have varied styles.

So I'm making a little project to document that.

A nice little tumblr space: OFFICE POSTER GIRL

And so now I can also maximize my camera...

...which also means I need to carry it in my bag everyday...

...then I should have nice big bags...

...shopping...mwahahaha
